1. Screens Create Color with Light (RGB) Your phone, computer, or tablet screen creates images using the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color model. It works by mixing these three colors of light and shining them directly into your eyes. This is called an "additive" process, and it's why colors on a screen can look extremely bright and vibrant.
2. Printers Create Color with Ink (CMYK) Our printers use the CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) color model to put real ink onto fabric. Instead of shining light, the ink absorbs some light and reflects the rest back to your eyes. This is called a "subtractive" process. Because reflected light is different from direct light, the colors on a physical product will naturally have a slightly different tone and feel than on a glowing screen.
